My vision for Fit-Edge is to first "Transform Baltimore" (my hometown) by accomplishing my mission to EDGEucate and help Busy People through improved nutrition, training, and mindset motivation. By enhancing their fitness habits, they can live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives!

I didn’t just want to create a business but rather a movement that exceeds the expectations of my clients by delivering remarkable results and taking their fitness to the next level. How Victor got into Fitness

From Track & Field Wannabe to World Class Bodybuilder

It all started during track & field in high school. While I was supposed to be doing drills with the rest of the team, the coach would often ask, 'Where's Victor?' Inevitably, someone would rat me out: 'In the weight room'... some teammates! Ironically, by skipping practice to hit the gym (and not getting cut from the team, thankfully), I was able to drastically improve my performance. I became one of the top long jumpers and sprinters. Training hard not only enhanced my physical performance but also transformed my physique. A friend suggested I try bodybuilding, and after giving it a shot and doing well, I was hooked. The rest is history.

I began personal training unofficially in my intro to weightlifting class as a college freshman. We were supposed to use the time to workout but I always found myself spending class helping others with workout plans, nutritional guidance, spotting or just motivating them to progress further. The instructor said I was doing her job and that I should look into getting certified as a trainer and so I did soon after.

My Qualifications

Practice what I Preach

They're important, but they're not everything. With a bachelor's degree in biology, a master's in biomedical science, and years as a certified personal trainer, I've realized that science and fitness blend together seamlessly. This scientific approach guides my training and diet plans for both myself and my clients, as well as my reviews of new fitness topics and research. However, experience is just as crucial, allowing me to practice what I preach. I began my journey in natural bodybuilding around the same time I started personal training ten years ago. Over the years, I've learned that trial and error is essential to determine if a specific training or diet tip will work for you.

My advice to you is to understand the why, give it a try, and then apply it. I'm really excited about the resources and support Fit-Edge will offer you. If you're looking for that extra EDGE to achieve the results you want and take your physique to the next level!
